Extends Daytime Line

A more extensive daytime handbag line than usual has 'been developed by Fine Arts Bag Co. Details include plastic shell frames and hand shirring on all wool broadcloth, fitted linings and interesting underarm and top handle arrangements.
A novelty style is shown in broadcloth studded with nailheads of different sizes and shapes worked into various patterns.
In the corde group there are a number with shell frames which are sewn to the bag by hand. This feature makes for better finish and wear. Corde bags come in black, brown and navy. (August 1942 "Luggage & Leather Goods," page 51)

Bags for Spring 1956 were presented on January 3, 1956 by agreement as a member of the National Authority for the Ladies Handbag Industry. 1956NationalAuthorityMembers
