While not up to standard for sale, this Art Deco Elizabeth Arden Velvet vanity clutch certainly demands documentation. The black silk velvet body is embellished on front with a curved peplum whose shape subtly echoes the bottom contour of the graceful faux drapery rhinestone trimmed latch. Beige satin lines the interior whose fittings organize compact, lipstick and comb and provides a snap pocket at the front of a large expanding open pocket. Gold lettering marks the bag as “Elizabeth Arden Patent Pending.” In excellent condition, this rare bag would be valued at $100. Measures 8 x 1 x 5 ¼”.
