This jointed figure is authentic down to its pin and celluloid rings. He|s illustrated on page 99 of Battle & Lesser|s "Best of Bakelite." with book price of $1100-1700. Bakelite (tested +) parts include chest, feet arms & hat brim. Hat, head and legs are wood. Hat band is metal, belt is plastic lanyard. Arms are attached with celluloid rings. Pin is attacked with metal rivets. His chest is inscribed "Rosie." Note he has seem some action, as indicated by the divot in his wooden hat. Otherwise, he|s in excellent condition. Technically a piece of sweetheart jewelry, it|s a very desirable bakelite piece with historical context. Measures 3 1/2 x 1 3/4".
