Fantastic black Bakelite dance purse c.l930 features a complex front design embellished with white pearls, nestled in gold frames. The original cording and Bakelite ring and bead are present. The tassel is a vintage replacement. The black Bakelite lever latch pushes down to open. The interior features a framed round beveled mirror in the lid and three round depressions; one for rouge, one for rouge puff, and a third for the loose powder and puff. One of the oval celluloid restrainers is missing but the puff stays in place with one. This bag now resides in the wardrobe department of Columbia Pictures. The condition is exquisite with wear to the cord binding, the only fault. The body measures 3 x 3/4 x 3 3/8", and 12 1/2" ring to tassel."
