A beautifully designed Black Corde| hand bag with some unusual features. The double loop handles intertwine at the center for a distinctive look. The envelope flap snaps to latch. The spotless black taffeta interior features two large open pockets this appears to be a wartime production as the spiral design Talon plastic zipper has a archaic cord attaching the zipper head to the handle pull. This early plastic zipper was likely necessary due to wartime restrictions on metal use for luxury items. Includes a black moiré coin purse with silk satin lining. Flawless save for three tiny pinholes on the underside of the envelope flap. Measures 12 ˝ x 1 ˝ x 6 ˝".
