Coblentz Bag Company dates back to 1935, but this little honey is from the 1960s. The small floral print is a bouquet of red, yellow, gold, blue and gold. The envelope flap is trimmed with a matching bow. The snap opens to a yellow satin interior with 2 large open pockets and a separate mirror pocket, complete with a Saks Fifth Avenue mirror. There are minor sheen defects in the satin and a tiny discoloration on the comb pocket (see detail,) consistent with the age and light usage of the bag, otherwise pristine condition. Measures 9 12/ x 5 1/4 x 1 1/2" with double short 12" handles.

This item was part of the archives of the Bag Lady Emporium, originally in operation from 1996 through 2022 (Inventory ID F00049). It sold for $60.00 in 2009.
