Elegant natural linen Crewel Embroidered handbag circa 1950, identical front and back, and edged in a coordinating 3 1/4 inch band. Tortoise Lucite frame opens to a beige vinyl interior with one open and one metal zip pocket. The lining material has stiffened with age but is otherwise sound. The exterior of the bag is in pristine condition with only slight soiling of the underside of the embroidered handle. Measures 13 x 3 1/4 x 9 3/4".
