Here|s a bit of education for you handbag mavens. This Dofanette Red vinyl handbag was made in France by the Dofan Handbag Company. I swear was made inside out! Red vinyl exterior is nice enough, but the red leather interior is a knockout and features a large metal zip pocket. I believe this to be a very early vinyl bag circa 1935. The condition is very good with just a few spots on the gold lift-up latch. There is a small mar on the inner surface of leather covering the metal frame. But the bag is still a collector|s piece. Measures 9 x 2 x 9 1/2".
