A true classic, embellished fabric bag by outstanding 50|s bag maker Jolles Original. The body of the bag and handle are constructed of the tough fiberous patterned black fabric, linen-like but rougher. The fabulous collage front is assembled of white velvet Gardenias, needlepoint leaves and flowers centers, edged in adhered white beads, textured green dots, all mounted on a kinetic zigzag lace background. The bag is fully lined in impeccable black felt, with one large metal zip pocket. Excellent condition except for very slight shelf aging not unusual in the bag 50 years old. Measures 10" by 2 1/2" by 10 1/4" with a 14 inch handle.
