A classic 50|s sculptural Llewellyn bag in wonderful Gunmetal Gray active Birdseye Lucite. This is one of the most sought after Lucite styles. The double-hinged black strap handles are curved at the center for an ergonomic contour. The proprietary Llewellyn lift-up latch opens to reveal a fully lined navy moiré interior, which is marked with the gold Llewellyn Lewsid Jewel logo. The lining is in excellent condition. The body of the bag is also in fine shape, side seams meeting perfectly, and the round tongue beneath the silver metal latch post is sound and complete. Four clear hemisphere feet are present. Very slight surface abrasion commensurate with age. A real collector|s bag. Measures 7 1/2 x 3 x 7 in.
