Unusual scalloped framed mahogany brown Lizard bag with curvilinear snap brass latch.. While the bag in unmarked, the frame is marked Esmond, MN, indicating this is an American bag. One large dark spot on the plating of the latch (see detail.) Fully lined in dark brown taffeta which is in good condition, but has one large dark stain at the bottom of the single open pocket. Handsome ca. 1940 vintage bag. Measures 7 3/4 x 3 1/4 x 5 1/4".
