A lovely Majestic Black Lace evening bag in an unusual truncated Cone Shape. Is just wonderful sculpture! The Lotus leaves in the lace are outlined in silver thread, and the overall impression is that of a filmy, transparent veil. The gold satin bottom lining is marked "Majestic" in gold lettering, and shows small brown stains and light wear. The lacquered finish on the metal work is spotty and shows numerous areas of wear and darkening, especially on the metal strap handle and the lid. While short of perfection, its uniqueness makes this a very desirable bag. Measures 5" in diameter and 5 1/2" high. S OLD
