A classic white Rialto bag with proprietary Rialto turn style latch. While the body of the bag as Lucite, the lid is molded acetate which is surface and reverse designed in the complex flower and leaf design. Marked in incised lettering Rialto NY on the inside hinge. Note the elegant reverse curve of the handles. This molded acetate lid is the key to the attribution of many unmarked but frequently found collectible handbags. Excellent condition. Measures 8 x 4 x 4 inches.
