Highly desirable Volupte’ Vanity Case in the original black faille carrier. The carrier’s V-shaped front allows of view of the diamond the design vanity case, trimmed in square box set rhinestones. The downside of the design is scratching and discoloration of the case’s metal finish. When removed from the fabric carrier, the 6 x 3/4 x 4 3/4 inch vanity case opens by pushing the latch, which is actually the bottom of the lipstick to. The large doubled edge lid mirror shows very slight speckling. The bulk of the interior is divided into three compartments with separate doors. The loose powder compartment includes a signed puff and sifter. There are two non-specific sections, one the same size as the powder compact, the other larger with a built-in divider. The small ones latch closed. The larger compartment has a spring closure. A hinged clip holds a small comb. The fabric carrier shows significant wear on the corners. I’ve done what repairs I could. Check detail pictures. It’s a great collectible, despite some defects. Measures including fabric case 7 ¾ x 1 x 5 inches with a 9-inch handle.
