Dainty Art Deco style Whiting & Davis Enamel Mesh Bag in highly desirable tones of lavender, blue, gold, black and white. The enamel is in excellent condition with no apparent loss of paint. The unusual scallop lift-up latch open to reveal the original apricot satin lining, Whiting & Davis frame logo and a Whiting & Davis fabric label. There is a small worn area at the top edge of the lining and very slight soiling. The 8" chain handle is comprised of rectangular links, each engraved with a tiny paisley design. An outstanding example of Whiting & Davis artistry. Measures 5 1/4 x 1 x 4 1/2".
