A spacious Gray Birdseye Lucite Wilardy bag stands up tall and distinguished. The silver metal fittings really sparkle. The high loop front-to-back mounted handle his real flair. It echoes the oval contour of the bag. The lid mounted oval mirror is in good condition, but shows some age. Marked with incised lettering on the interior hinge. Excellent condition. Measures 8 1/4 x 4 3/4 x 7 1/8 inches. At the request of the Council of Fashion Designers of America and their President, Diane von Furstenberg, this Wilardy bag was photographed for their new book “American Fashion: Accessories.”
