A rare and wonderful Wilardy Two-Tray Lucite Bag, embedded with glittery lace. The top section latches with a curvilinear fastener. The bottom section has a metal slide-button latch. This lace embedded style is found in Wilardy ads ca. 1951 and is known as the "Stardust" bag. This double compartment design is extremely rare, and this design made in embedded lace is a once-in-a-lifetime bag for the advanced collector. Exquisite condition. Unmarked, but unmistakably Wilardy. Measures 7 3/4 x 4 1/8 x 4 3/8".
